March “Coolest Jobs” Winners Announced

Congratulations to the Scanlon family and Storm Smart window installers Jeff & Randy for being chosen as the March  “Coolest Jobs” Winners!

Diana submitted her Coolest Jobs entry by saying: “The installation of casement impact windows elevated my home to a higher standard of security both in and out of hurricanes.  And, the windows greatly improved the appearance of my home.  Better visibility, air circulation, and ease of opening, closing, locking and cleaning the windows is an additional bonus.”

A check for $200 was presented to her by Storm Smart’s COO, Barry Feldman & Sales Professional David Gilbert.

“A fabulous job…”

I want you to know that I am happy with the window job done by your company. Beginning with your Sales Representative Mark Hoppe, the people in your office and most of all the three installers Pat, Earl and Joe. All of them did a fabulous job and I would like to thank you for that.

I already showed the new windows to some neighbors here at The Forest CC and I hope you get some more work to do here.

“There is no doom & gloom feeling…”

I am thrilled that Storm Smart was able to make the tracks for the shutters curved to preserve the integrity of the shape of my windows so it looks just like a part of the frame.  Even with the clear panels up, they are barely visible but the peace of mind knowing they are up is unmeasurable! Plus, there is no doom and gloom feeling that other shutters would give the inside of the home so I am able to leave them up as long as I want.  On top of that, Robb my sales person was very thorough with explaining and listening.  Beren was an amazingly great installer who took care of everything and answered all my questions.  I can’t wait to schedule the next work I need done with Storm Smart. So cool~ you rock!

We can “ride out the storm” thanks to Storm Smart!

We are DELIGHTED with the Storm Smart installation of our accordion hurricane shutters and lanai screen.  Matt & CO. did an excellent job measuring and installing them in a totally professional manner.  Kudos also to Hilda who handled the office work and scheduling in an exemplary manner.  We have already had compliments from both neighbors and friends and we were even more impressed when the County inspector commented on the excellence of the installation.  We feel that the shutters actually enhance the outside appearance of the house and we like the versatility of the lanai screen, particularly for winter use.   It is so well integrated that it actually appears like an architectural feature when totally retracted.

Being new to Florida, we were concerned about ‘weather events’ impacting our new home but now feel confident that we can ‘ride out the storm’ thanks to Storm Smart.

Even the Inspector was impressed…

We have the “coolest job” of the month because of Mike.  Expecting a “crew,” we were surprised when he arrived and worked alone! For three days, we came and went to our exercise classes, golf, and appointments.  There was never a mess.  Mike and the electrician vacuumed immediately when necessary.  When all were installed, Mike carefully explained how the 4 different types of shutters worked.  He patiently answered questions, sometimes the same one only from the perspective of my husband or me.

Besides having complete faith in the honesty and integrity of Mike and Storm Smart, we have confidence in the choices of the shutter for the different locations.  We not only have a hurricane screen on the lanai but also a wind/rain screen on a north elevation. The motorized front door metal shutter will provide security against glass breakage; and the windows have accordion or lexan panels.  Even the inspector was impressed with the quietness of our front door shutter!

We could not be happier with this COOL job!  Thanks Storm Smart, Howard, and Mike.
