Information From NOAA-

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is issuing advisories on Hurricane Danielle and Tropical Storm Earl. We are also monitoring a very large tropical wave just off the coast of Africa. The tropics are getting very active and that can be expected for this time of the year. The peak of the hurricane season is or about September 10th.

Hurricane Danielle is located 640 mile northeast of the Northern Leeward Islands and 860 miles southeast of Bermuda. Danielle has winds of 105mph and she is moving towards the northwest at 16 mph. Hurricane Danielle is expected to slow down its forward speed as she starts to make her turn toward the north. Danielle is a category 2 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson scale and could become a major hurricane by Friday. Danielle is not forecast to make landfall at this time, however all interests in Bermuda need to pay attention to the track of Danielle.

Tropical Storm Earl is located 695 miles west of the Cape Verde Islands and is moving west-northwest at 16 mph. Earl is expected to remain on this track for the next 3 days. Tropical Storm Earl has maximum sustained winds of 45 mph and is forecast by the NHC to become a hurricane within the next 48 hours.
