“Above and Beyond the call of duty”!

Monday, June 27th, 2011

My husband and I recently purchased the “Storm Catcherroll down hurricane screens for our home. David and his son Travis did a wonderful job and David went “Above and Beyond the call of duty”! We have an arched bay window in the front of our home. We were concerned that with the installation of the roll downs we would lose the integrity of the arches on our window. We were extremely concerned about that. We did not want the cap that housed the roll down to interfere with the arches. Well, attached are pictures of the beautiful job David did installing our screens on this bay window! He eliminated the big bulky cap, and installed the roll down right into the soffit…with very little disturbance to the arches! He worked very hard doing this.  They were a great team! They spent long days here and left the areas they were working on spotless every day. We feel the job David did with our window should certainly be nominated as probably one of the Coolest jobs ever!

“…our place was as clean as when they started…”

Monday, June 6th, 2011

We ordered our new windows in March. Of the three companies we talked to, only Don D. from Storm Smart impressed us. When the four windows and the three sliding lanai windows came in three men came to install them. Shawn, Jeff and Todd were just great. First they measured from every angle, made sure each panel would fit like a glove, then laid down drop cloths so nothing would get dirty. As they proceeded along they explained how the windows were made and how they will protect our condo in case of a severe storm and how they install them. When finished, our place was as clean as before they started. They were courteous, polite and professional. We are very happy with Storm Smart, our new windows and their employees.

We will definitely recommend Storm Smart.

“…everything looks fantastic!”

Thursday, June 2nd, 2011

Even though we were not present during the installation of our rolling shutters, our Home Watch person said everything looks fantastic and the installation went perfectly! The installers were quiet, clean and very professional! We can’t wait to see them in person and show them off to our neighbors!

April’s “Coolest Job” Winner Announced

Tuesday, May 31st, 2011

Congratulations to the Hazelton family and Storm Smart installer Matt C. for being chosen as the April “Coolest Jobs” Winners! A check for $200 was given to the Hazelton’s and our installer received a bonus for a ‘job well done!’

The Hazelton’s submitted their “Coolest Job” entry by saying:

“There are so many things to love about our new Storm Smart hurricane protection rolling screens. We are thrilled with the system for a number of reasons: They function not only as hurricane protection but also serve as great solar protection during the late afternoon sun on our lanai. We were also able to enjoy sitting on our lanai during the recent heavy rain storm. The job was performed professionally from beginning to end.  From the sales representative T.J., as well as the installation group.”

Is your new Storm Smart Hurricane Protection the coolest job of the month? If so, please tell us about it! Here’s how it works~ if you would like to nominate your home for the coolest job, simply take pictures of your new Storm Smart products or video and send it to cooljobs@stormsmart.com with a short statement on why you think that your job and your installer is the “coolest job of the month!”
