Storm Smart Industries recently sponsored the Storm Smart Safety House at the Fort Myers, Florida Imaginarium (Hands On Museum). The display includes a Hurricane Hub where guests can “ride” the hurricane hub. You are asked to wear glasses and a volunteer starts up the machine, you feel tropical force winds and then you are able to hit the remote and roll down a Storm Smart mounted remote roll down screen and feel no wind!

The Storm Smart Safety house includes a slide screen in four different colors that is accessible to see how it operates as well as a display of broken impact glass. Last, but not least SS installed Lexan panels and a device where you swing a hard object at the panels and see how well the panels work against flying debris.

Storm Smart also provided two new computers where children and guests can learn all about the weather and storm tracking.
