FORT MYERS, FLORIDA: The Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida has recognized Storm Smart Industries with an official Resolution. This recognition comes on the heels of the Corporate Award presented to Storm Smart at last month’s Governor’s Hurricane Conference.

The Resolution states “We do hereby recognize and congratulate Storm Smart Industries for their commitment to making our citizens more prepared for the hazards we face in Southwest Florida.”  It goes on to state that Storm Smart received the Resolution in part “for sponsoring the All Hazards Guide, a 28 page comprehensive emergency preparedness brochure with maps and Emergency Contact information…to prepare our citizens for any type of major emergency.”

Company President, Brian Rist, accepted this award of behalf of the 165 members of the Storm Smart family. “While we’ve been blessed with national recognition such as the Inc. Magazine 500 listing and the Governors Award, it’s especially rewarding to receive such an honor in our own back yard. We thank the Board of County Commissioners, the Lee County Emergency Management staff, as well as the citizens of Lee County for bestowing such an honor upon us.” said Rist.
