Coolest Job Winner!

Bob Cooling of Bonita Springs has been awarded the coolest job for the month of April. Mr. Cooling’s job is indeed impressive. Not only is his home beautiful, but now its safely protected.

He has a variety of installations ranging from Deluxe Accordion shutters; Storm Catcher Easy Screens and our Deluxe Motorized Storm Catcher Roll down Screens all now protect his home. This increases the value, security, beauty and gives it the protection that he needs just in case there is ever an unsuspecting storm.

Of course the job starts with Don Deringer who is one of our seasoned Territory Managers that covers the Bonita Springs area. Don has been with Storm Smart for 8 years and has been consulting residents on how to get the best protection for their money while keeping the appeal to their home intact. Don is a true professional working with Mr. Cooling’s project from start to finish ensuring that he was totally satisfied with the end result.

The other person that should be praised is of course Scott Mochnal. Scott has been with Storm Smart for over 15 years installing shutters. He is a true professional and has been the recipient of the coolest job many times. He is very precise and detailed in his craftsmanship, which shows in Mr. Cooling’s residence.

If it were not for the professionalism of Scott Mochnal taking his time to make this job something to be proud of Storm Smart and the Smart Companies family of businesses would not be what they are today. We want to thank the whole team of professionals that worked on this from the start to finish for making Bob Cooling’s job the Coolest in April.

February Coolest Job

Once again David Gilbert has been nominated for selling the coolest job. To us it’s not always the most elaborate job that counts, even though we have thousands of them. It’s really the experience of the families that let us into their homes to help them protect what is so dear to them.

This job was done in Colonial Country Club in Fort Myers. We often protect your entire home but in this case installing 2 Motorized Storm Catcher screens we not only protected their lanai, but extended their living space.  They chose a Bone colored screen trimmed in White matching the aesthetics of the home’s exterior.  Now they have another room added to their home which gives them privacy and allows them to sit outside when they want in any type of weather.

“How do you spell total satisfaction… STORM SMART that’s how!!”

John and Janet G.

The job was installed by Shane Wise. Shane is only 28, but has been working here as a full time installer for 8 years. He is one of our most talented installers who have won many coolest job installations. The Gatecliff’s raved about how clean he was all the way through, then how educating he was when he was finished showing them how to use the remote controllers.

Nice Job David and Shane for taking care of the Gatecliff’s from start to finish.

January Coolest Jobs

Every month we spotlight that one job that makes everything worthwhile for us. For the month of January this Consists of our best-seller the “Storm Catcher” Manual Roll down Screen, which spreads across the Vanderbilt’s back lanai?  At a mere cost the value is priceless to the Vanderbilt’s.
The Installer was a young man by the name of Tyler Nagy. He is a very talented man that has only been with our company for about 8 months. He has been an installer in the shutter industry for 6-7 years and does amazing work. We are very proud to have him on the Smart Companies team. Listen to what the Vanderbilt’s had to say about Tyler:

Actual Customer Email:
This is in reference to our experience with Storm Smart. Out installer was Tyler and he was so informative and explained how easy the maintenance was going to be on our new roll down screen.  He had a great personality. It was like socializing with a good friend. He continued to work and did not mind all the questions we had. It was a pleasure having Storm Smart at our home upgrading and improving our hurricane protection.

Thank you.
William and Martha Vanderbilt

We want to thank the Vanderbilt’s for their business and welcome them to the almost 60,000 satisfied Storm Smart customers.

December Coolest Job

Benton Coolest JobIt isn’t everyday that I let anyone work on my home, let alone make major impacts on the architectural footprint.

Nevertheless, Storm Smart, through the serendipity of scheduling, assigned Dennis Hall to do my installation.  This turned out to be a significant amount of work with the potential for major difficulties at several points in the installation.

I watched Dennis carefully and was impressed at not only his workmanship but also the fact that he had the proper tools for every aspect of the installation.  While that gave me some comfort, I was very pleased and totally satisfied when the finished product was revealed.

I will be the first to say that “Perfection is hard to come by” but I have to tell you that in this case, perfection was achieved.

Probably what pleased me most was how Dennis “married” the Storm Smart curtains with the existing architectural details.  No one will ever know that these curtains weren’t part of the original structure.

He did perfect work…How “COOL” is that?

So, give credit where credit is due, you have a really good installer on your payroll–he deserves special treatment.

I recommend you keep him around.

Regards,
Curtis

Brackett Coolest JobOur initial contact with Storm Smart was with Frank Manor, who gave a hands down excellent presentation giving us a confident feeling of your product and service.  He was by far, the most professional of all the competition we interviewed.

We can not be more pleased with the install and service you provided for our 3 new Storm Smart fabric storm shutters. Everything was like clockwork. Shane came to measure only a few days after we ordered. He arrived promptly at the time he said he would and worked quickly and quietly. He knew exactly what he needed to do. Only a few days later we were called to set up a time for installation.  Again Shane arrived at the time he said. He was well organized and proceeded to start by laying tarps on the floor for any debris or droppings. When he was ready, the electrician, Paul, came promptly and did his part. Paul even made a special trip back to take care of wiring that I was particular about. All the while they were here they both were very polite and answered any questions we had. Since Shane did not finish in one day, he neatly placed all his tools out of our way for the night. When finished Shane explained everything we needed to know about the shades. He painted a small area near the manual control that needed it and cleaned up with sweeping and vacuuming everything. There was no extra cleanup needed.

The follow up inspection by Mike Killeen gave us confidence that we had an A-1 install.  Mike even mentioned that he was a short walk from our house, and offered to come over should we have a problem or additional questions.

Since our shades have been installed, we have been enjoying our breakfasts with the shade partially down and no sun in our eyes, It is wonderful. We like the extra privacy they provide too, and the fact that we can lookout but not in. We have shown them to several of our friends who really were impressed. In fact two of them have indicated they would love to have them instead of the aluminum shutters they presently have. We like them so very much, we will keep telling our friends about them.  All this and it is past the hurricane season.
