Storm Smart Offers Resolution to Customers of Bankrupt Shutter Co.

FORT MYERS, FLORIDA: Storm Smart Industries, the largest hurricane protection company in Southwest Florida, is offering to assist customers of a hurricane protection company that has closed its doors and taken over 150 customer’s deposits with them.

Storm Systems, Inc. has gone out of business with an understanding that their current contracts would be honored by another shutter company, Clear Choice. It appears that those deposits are not going to be honored by Clear Choice, who is simply going to begin the proposal process all over again with these consumers.

Storm Smart Industries Marketing Director, Trent Dunn, states “We are offering to forego profit in lieu of community relations and industry oversight by striving to match the initial Storm Systems contracts, MINUS the initial deposits, which we assume are lost forever.”

Storm Smart Industries relies heavily on customer referrals, which account for almost seventy percent of all contracts. “That number,” Dunn states, “is something we pride ourselves on. We hope that any financial losses we incur in this endeavor may be made up by receiving referrals from those customers that we are able to assist in properly protecting their homes.”
